Executive Order 9066
Today is the 70th anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066, which allowed Japanese Americans to be put in internment camps.
“Relocation centers”
In America. Their own country.
There’s no blood and death, but clicking the link and looking through the pictures hurt.
It makes me sad to see people of color displaying patriotism in a land that has repeatedly shown it doesn’t give two shits about them.
